Situated at the base of the majestic North Eastern Lowveld Drakensberg mountain range in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, Moholoholo offers a unique experience to all nature enthusiasts.
Here at Moholoholo “The Very Great One” we offer travellers time to unwind, relax and enjoy our beautiful Lowveld region.
Our Mission
At Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured, orphaned, and poisoned wildlife while creating awareness of the urgent challenges facing conservation today. We provide a safe haven for animals that cannot be returned to the wild, using them as ambassadors to educate the public about the threats to their species. Through research initiatives, such as tracking leopards and vultures, and successful breeding programs for endangered species like Servals, we actively contribute to preserving South Africa’s biodiversity. By fostering harmony between humans and wildlife, we aim to inspire global action for a sustainable and thriving natural environment.

Forest Camp
Luxury accommodation for 22 guests/Full board (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Game Drive, Night Drive, Visit to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre included). Small, intimate weddings and functions.

Junior Wildlife
Moholoholo is proud of its contribution to educating today’s youth in a fun and friendly environment. We offer tailor-made packages to suit School Groups of up to 80 learners, where they can participate in a wide range of conservation activities.
Weddings and Functions
Situated on the Banks of the Blyde River and hidden under Lush trees, surrounded by beautifully kept lawns.
Ya Mati is the ideal venue for that very special wedding or function for up to 150 guests.

An unforgettable holiday and absolutely recommended. It was our first time on a safari tour and everything was well organized.
Best place to stay. The employees are so nice and courteous. The rooms are big and on your terrasse you can watch nyalas and monkeys. Food is delicous.
We had a fantastic time staying here. The staff were amazing and very attentive. The lodge we had was beautiful and very comfy. Food was excellent and Leigh our guide was extremely knowledgeable which made for unforgettable game drives and bush walks
WOW. What a beautiful camp. Our lodge was large with everything we needed: bath, shower, cupboard space, a fridge, mosquito net. The chef made such wonderful meals, especially at dinner! We really did look forward to eating. Staff are friendly and can offer a range of activities for your stay. We particularly enjoyed a solo game drive culminating in drinks by the hippo hole, and a bush walk where we learned about animal tracks and survival in the bush, and found some giraffes as a bonus! This camp is teeming with wildlife and the perfect find for our safari getaway.
Absolutely top notch! Nothing too much trouble for the host Anita. Food was sensational and I’ve definitely piled some extra pounds on. Rooms were lovely and authentic with small private patio area. Sleep to the sounds of lions, take a game drive and see giraffes and be kept awake by naughty baboons!
