Our resident adult female Martial Eagle was admitted into our clinic, for mites eating her head feathers. The clinic staff applied Dectomax which is used to treat parasites on feathers and put her back in her enclosure. They will continue to monitor her and if necessary to apply more Dectomax.

There has already been an improvement in her condition, we can see new feathers and no more mites.
