With summer coming along it’s the perfect time to sleep under the African sky and admire all the beautiful constellations. Our volunteers have recently had the opportunity to experience this at its best by sleeping out under the stars at our private reserve in the Greater Kruger. During their night out in the bush our international volunteers prepared and cooked their own traditional South African braai which they enjoyed whilst sat around the campfire where they also spent the night. Throughout the evening they all took it in turns to keep watch and be look out for any curious animals that might be close by, wanting to join the braai… but don’t worry, our volunteers were in the company of 2 very experienced guides who were on hand to keep them safe. The next day started with an early morning game drive, during which they had excellent wildlife sightings, our luckiest group witnessing a big pride of lions!

This amazing evening was definitely a highlight of their trip to Moholoholo; a memory that will last forever.
