The baby speckled mousebird was found on the ground in the Klaserie Caravan Park. The people that found it could not find the nest or the parents, as they were scared it will get eaten by dogs, cats and other animals, so they brought it to us. Other than being very young there was no injuries, so Lisa Marie Haggadone a volunteer from America is looking after it. She feeds the chick all kinds of fruits by hand every 30mins, all the time and effort is paying off as it is growing fast and doing well.
